Pfitscher is proud to announce the release of the new Brut Riserva. 100% Pinot Noir, vinified in white. A Blanc de Noir, whose grapes come from vineyards that are among the highest in Alto Adige for this grape variety. This „Metodo Classico“ develops its characteristic aromatic profile at above 600 metres, in the area of Gleno near Montagna.
Pfitscher Brut Riserva is a „Metodo Classico“ with intensity, the result of a careful selection of grapes in high altitude vineyards on the steep slopes of the „Natural Park of Trodena“. Every vintage is aged for five years on lees, in the darkness and silence of the winery. This very long aging created a „unicum“. It is a great wine, with a bright colour and an immediate feeling of clarity, in which fruity and citrus notes are harmoniously combined with a certain minerality. The elegant and refined notes are supported by a freshness that gives him great persistence.
Hannes Pfitscher says: „I am very satisfied with the result. I love clear and straightforward wines, not sweetened, as if they were a mirror of reality. With the help of my family, I wanted to create this sparkling wine, playing with the great elegance of Pinot Noir.“
Only 1.500 bottles are available, each numbered and kept in a wooden box. From October, you can find the Brut in the most exclusive haute cuisine and wine shops. The Pfitscher Brut Riserva is dedicated to all the friends of the family.
