Harvest 2021

Harvest is the most beautiful time of the year. Now that all the grapes have found their way home to the cellar, we would like to give you a brief review of this year's harvest.
 
The common challenges of hail, rain and drought did not spare us this year either. Nevertheless, together with an outstanding team, we were able to overcome them with diligence, professionalism and a lot of sensitivity. The vintage 2021 is promising and will convince you again with the typical Pfitscher liveliness. We completed the 43 harvest days with our main grape varieties Pinot Nero and Sauvignon Blanc. The golden autumn weather was characterized by extraordinarily high temperature differences between day and night. These give an intense and fresh aroma. Only healthy and ripe grapes entered the cellar. A meticulous selection work, mainly controlled by grandad Alfred and dad Klaus.
